Virtual Nomads

About The Guild
Vayrel and myself (Nyarl) have been playing MMOs since Ultima Online created to genre, and yes we admit that we are addicts. Ever since then we have wandered from game to game trying to satisfy that craving UO instilled in us. After a while it became a running joke that we were like nomads, always looking for new places to hunt and for a time to live in before moving on again.

Our Guild name is a reflection of that idea.

Virtual Nomads was created several year back when we were playing Dungeons & Dragons Online. There was some drama in our guild and it just stopped being fun. Myself, Vayrel and one of our guild mates who we had become close to (Code) all decided to strike out on our own, find a new game and start our own Guild without all of the drama. The three of us all act as Guild Leader, no single person wields total power here so if you have a problem there is always some one you can bring it to.

Now here we are, finally having gotten around to registering a domain name and setting up the page and forums.

We still hold to the same ideals we started out with: Find new and fun games, find cool people who play with, avoid the drama that tends to ruin good guilds.

So if that sounds like the kind of atmosphere you’d like to play in then drop an application our way or better yet talk to a Guild Leader in game. We are very relaxed and will give pretty much anyone a chance, but reserve the right to boot you to the road if you start making the game unpleasant for other guild members.

Rules of the Guild

As I already said, we are a very relaxed guild. We don’t force our members to play at certain times, pay dues or anything like that. We just want to have fun together.
These are however the few rules we do enforce are:

-We use Team Speak. You will be expected to use it. It really helps a lot, especially during PvP.

-No Griefing (we are a PvP guild not a griefing guild).

-Don’t be a dick to guild members, help guildies whenever possible (this doesnt mean you can’t cuss at them, call them names, threaten them with bodily harm ect as long as its done in good fun and you both realize it).

-Grouping with Guild members is very recommended. If you have a group and a guild member of the appropriate level needs a group you should invite them in even if this means dropping a non guildy from the group. We don’t want to be rude to other people, but guildies come first.

-If it becomes necessary for any reason to add to or amend these rules it will be discussed and decided by all three of the founding members together, and you will be expected to abide by that decision. Though I don’t envision that happening, its just an in case.
